I’ve been right where you are – twice, in fact.
That’s why I’m so passionate about helping people like you gain clarity and renewed direction in the workforce.
I remember the first time I hit my career crossroads. I was 24. My dad had become quite ill and, after having a few months off, I went back to my job and just wasn’t feeling it anymore. This situation gave me one of those ‘a-ha’ moments; those ones that wake you up from living in the robotic career fog bubble of going with the flow. It made me stop and question what I was doing with my life, if it was making me happy and if it gave me a sense of fulfilment.
I pivoted here and moved along my second career path which saw me go from a junior role into a senior role and many roles in between – swapping from sales to management, from operations to people and organisational development. I was inside the corporate world for over 12 years within 4 different organisations and 3 different industries throughout the Asia Pacific region, when the next career crossroads hit me.
Again, I stopped to ask myself those same three questions. But I added a fourth this time: am I making a difference?
You see, as I continued to grow in my roles and as an individual, my priorities had shifted and I needed to reassess and realign what I was doing so that I could be fulfilled with where I was choosing to spend my time.
I see you and I get you. You’ve hit that crossroads.
You’re seeking clarity and direction with where you next choose to invest your time from a career standpoint. You want assurance that you’re not alone and there is light at the end of the tunnel. That somewhere out there is a role with your name on it that will allow you to work within your core values and make you happy.
I believe you are capable to do anything you put your mind too. My role as your Career Crossroads Coach is to encourage you to the point where you know and believe this too. In our career coaching sessions, I will help you think differently, uncover your inner strengths and map out your career desires so you can identify and move towards a career that will fulfil you.
I want you to be the best you can be; to understand, cultivate and realise your full potential. To develop a greater level of self-awareness and confidence that will help you progress you towards a successful future.
